Life

Back from the holidays.

Well I made it back to the caprock from the piney woods. It was good to visit friends & family, but it is good to be back out here…my new home. LOL

It was a really nice Christmas at home. The visiting family and friends was nice. There just comes a time when you are ready to get away from it all. I have been ready to do just that for a while now.

I like some peace and quiet, a little ‘my time’, and able to relax and enjoy it without an interuption or change in plan. I also like to have my belongings, in a place I can call mine, where all the previously mentioned actions can take place. So now that I am back, my belongings on there way, and I have a place to rent (decided to slow down and look around before I buy, and at the same time quickly find my own place)…..I am ready to get away. Kinda a holiday vacation from the holiday vacation. LOL

Also, I think I have stayed plenty long enough with Nick and Pepper. What was supposed to be a 5 day house hunting trip has turned into me living with them for 25 days, and now that I am back from the holidays…we’re counting again. So, though I am sincerly greatful, I am hoping to get my things here and moved into the duplex…I am sure all of us will appreciate the lesser burden.

So, now I am going to make some phone calls, try a trip to Lubbock, and get staged for a move into the duplex.

Until later,
James
