This post is short, because it is a hard one, but I feel that I need to request prayer from the visitors of the site. If I have not already talked to you personally; my family is in need of prayer.
Haley Brooke Due
Funeral services for Haley Brooke Due, 8, of Huntington will be held Saturday, August 28, 2004, at 10:30 a.m. in the Harmony Hill Baptist Church with Dr. John W. Greene, Rev. R.G. Bud Davis and Rev. Mike Due officiating. Interment will follow in Knight Cemetery.
Haley was born January 25, 1996 in Houston, to James and Tina (Anthony) Due, and died Monday, August 23, 2004 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Haley was in the 3rd grade at Huntington Elementary School. She was very active in sports, and she excelled in basketball, softball and boys baseball. She attended Harmony Hill Baptist Church, and lived in Huntington for most of her life.
Survivors include her parents, James and Tina Due of Huntington; twin brother, Hunter Due of Huntington; sister, Kelsey Due of Huntington; maternal grandparents, James and Darlene Anthony of Huntington; paternal grandparents, Merron and Betty Jo Due of Lufkin; paternal grandmother, Monika Juarez of Worms, Germany; maternal great-grandmother, Nina Jean Anthony of Diboll; uncles and aunts; Mike and Cindy Due of Pt. Arthur, Cheryl and Steve Anderson of Southlake, Carla and Brian Davis of Ft. Worth, Deneen and Kenny Schoubroek of Lufkin, Jamie Clark and Jack Clark, both of Lufkin and Andrew Cleary of Austin; cousin, Kristin Kelley of Huntington; other cousins, Brice and Emily Due, Ashland, Abbey, Emily, Erin and Olivia Anderson, Tyler and Logan Davis and Kaleb Schoubroek; special friends, Craig, Dee and Wyatt McFadden; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; and a host of friends.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Due, Charles Robertson, Jason VanSchoubroek, David Box, Craig McFadden and Koyte Smith.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Haley Due Softball Field Memorial Fund, in care of Huntington State Bank.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home in Lufkin.
