Joseph Heith Johnson

100_1395.JPGWell in all the stuff that has happened in the past week or so, I forgot to record something very important. The birth of Joseph Heith “my boy” Johnson. Born at 7:58 pm on Aug. 3rd 2007. Weighing in at 7lbs 8 oz. and 19.5 inches long…with hair.

100_1394.JPGYes, Joey & Jayme had their baby boy. Coming in just about a week after Jack & Lyndsi did. So I am a double uncle!! Whoo hoo…whoo hoo. Joey & Jayme were doing fine, and the baby…was sleeping. We did not get to visit long, but it was good to see them and the baby. Now that I think of it…the reference “my boy” comes from a little tag they had on the baby…and something Joey says more than he probably realizes. LOL So I was not trying to say anything deeper than that. For those conspiracy theorists out there.

100_1388.JPGWe got to visit Jack & Lydsi and their new baby Carter, as well as a bunch of other family members we have not seen in a long time. The kids (Jace’s and I) got to meet a bunch of their cousins and run wild. They had me take them on a walk 100_1399.JPGthrough the “Forrest”. Being from West Texas they don’t get to see many trees like that. So we learned what Honeysuckle is, what ‘Saw briars’ are, learned that it is always raining under a Mamossa tree, and more importantly we met some fire ants. LOL

We had a nice time, then it was a long drive back, and back to the grind. I had to go wire the house. Thank God Mario came to help me. He worked hard (of course I paid him very well….I took him to lunch) LOL So now it is some insulation work I might do on the interior walls. Other than that they told us we would be ready to close in 30 – 45 days. This made us very happy until we thought about all the moving. LOL

100_1424.JPGAnyway…just an update.
