Everything Else

Sorry it made me mad…so I blogged it.

OK, here is some stuff you should find disturbing and down right… well for a lack of a better word. STUPID!
Sorry, I just could not hold back. I’ll let you decide.

First we have Michael Newdow. Yup stupid person number one on my list today. It seems that Mr. Newdow, an atheist who sued because he did not want his young daughter exposed to the words “under God” in the Pledge of Allegiance has filed another lawsuit — this time with other parents.

“I want this decided on its merits,” said Newdow, a doctor and a lawyer, who again is the attorney in the latest pledge case.

Now…my turn… see if you are an atheist…why do you care? Can you not raise your kid like Muslim, Buddists, etc. do? How many lawsuits do you see from those groups that are not Christians against the pledge. let me help you count them…..NONE! Besides that an athiest, “One who disbelieves or denies the existence of God or gods.”, then should not worry about it. Raise your kid so they can spend eternity in hell if you want, Just stop tearing this country apart, spending our tax dollars on stupid lawsuits, and messing my blog up. I should sue Mr. Newdow for the time spent reading on this, adding it to my blog, and the personal anquish I feel.

OK…sorry, man that anger’s me a bit. LOL

Next up…
The Roman Catholic church has made a 100 million dollar settlement with Californian victims of sexual abuse by priests who were protected by the church leadership, according to court documents.
The diocese will pay half of the 100 million dollar settlement and its eight insurance firms will pay the rest. The Orange diocese says it is not facing bankruptcy, as other dioceses in the United States are because of the settlements.
One of the priests, Siegfried Widera, committed suicide in Mexico in 2003. Nine men had accused Widera of sexually assaulting them as children at two schools. He faced 42 felony counts of molestation in California and Wisconsin state at the time of his death.

OK… now maybe we should hand the other two over to this lady…so she can do this to some one who… well deserves it.
ST. LOUIS – A 34-year-old woman was charged Tuesday with using a hammer and pliers to punish her son for not doing his homework.
Police say Nancy Boyd-Porter had her other sons hold down the victim while she hit him in the hand with a hammer. She then squeezed the boy’s fingers with a pair of pliers and threatened to break them.

The boy said she then threw the hammer at him, hitting him in the ankle.

Police said the mother admitted to using the pliers to frighten the child. She told detectives that she was punishing her son for not starting his homework before she got home that night.

Boyd-Porter faces four felony charges, including abuse of a child, first-degree endangering the welfare of a child, second-degree assault and armed criminal action.

OK I am done bringing the bad news… now I just ask you pray tonight…to the one true God…and ask that he protect all our families from this sort of trash that is going on all around us.

On the home front…My step-father arrives in Houston tomorrow from Brangrum where he has been working. It will be good to see him. My sickness…seems to be passing, I feel much better this evening.

Until another post….later. JC
