Bible Code Hoax?

I was reading the news this morning and came across the heading that read, Mac creator Raskin dies at 61. Being a Mac addict, I read on. I found some interesting reading from there that I thought I would share on my site.

First off, incase you decide not to read the article about Mr. Raskin, I have included just a bit of information about him.

Jef created the Macintosh Computer as employee number 31 at Apple in the early 1980s, revolutionizing computer interface design. Jef established many methods now taken for granted by computer users, such as “click and drag.” He named the Macintosh project after his favorite variety of apple, the McIntosh (modifying the spelling for copyright purposes). Jef strongly believed that computers should make tasks easy for people, not the other way around.

Noticing that he had a web site, I thought I would learn a bit more about the man who was partly responsible for the best computing platform and design to this date. I learned some very interesting things about Mr. Raskin, and would encourage everyone to visit his site. He had a very interesting and educated life.

One thing in particular stood out to me as I was surfing his site. Bible Code Hoax.here is the links to the article, and the web based program.

Now on the home front:

I was awarded the chance to do some catch-up with an old school buddy this weekend. Seems he has been back in town for a few months and his mother passed along to my mother his contact information. I called him up and went to visit him and his family.

Rode to Conroe the next day to look at some salt water fish for a hobby we both share of aquariums. Now I have to start a salt water one, since my experience has been only in the fresh water realm. Shared some good laughs, stories, and of course we hit the groceries. Look forward to hitting the gym with him, since he is a body builder and got his pro card some time last year. I hope he can motivate me to get back under the iron.

It was really nice to have gotten to catch up, and plan to stay that way. Nothing replaces friendship, which is something I have really learned over the last couple of years. I think it is an on-going learning experience.

Later folks,
JC
