Mr. Brown is in town, Junior!
Nick beat me to the post, but I think the night did warrant another post. Besides, I got the pictures and the videos. LOL! Just to re-cap the intro that Nick gave – Junior Brown was going to be in town for the South Plains Fair. They had other acts this week, Billy Currington, Eddie Money, Saving Abel, Steve Wariner, Boyz II Men, Junior Brown, and a few others. All the concerts are free, just pay for parking, and to get in the gate. Sweet Deal, right! Right.

White president would never hear ‘You lie!’ – Bull CRAP!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is the title of an article written by Mary Mitchell for the Chicago newspaper, the Tribune or whatever. I came across it on the net because of the ridculous title. She bases it on former President Jimmy Carter. Here is a quote from the article: “Say what you will, but former president Jimmy Carter is too old to lie. At 85, he’s seen the best and worst of human nature. So, when he says the “You lie!” shouted at President Obama during his address to Congress last week was “based on racism,” he is speaking with wisdom.”

I can’t help it…sometimes I get extreme…
You know, it is no secret I don’t care for the direction our great country is going. So, to help make light of it best I can…to keep from going crazy… I have re-written the poem by Emma Lazarus, “The New Colossus”. It is the one on the Statue of Liberty.

First Day of School
Well the kids are back in school today. Keagan is used to it by now, but it is all new to Kaden. He starts Kindergarten this year. He was excited, I just wish I could have stayed at the house and went with Jace to drop them off. I am sure I’ll get to see some nice pictures and here all about school when I get in tonight.

Can I get an Amen?!
This will really start to stereotype me a little, but I have posted this guy on my blog before. I received an email with another video of this guy. Mr. James David Manning, PhD; a pastor and host of the Manning Report. He makes some very good points, and being he is of a darker color than this “white boy”, maybe, just maybe, he might be heard and not be turned off as being a racist.
