Summer vacation – a change of plans
So we made our way to Devil’s Shores, hit a deer or a deer hit us on the way there – installed the Bimini top on the boat, lower unit on the other boat, tv on the wall, Moved furniture around, and then it was decided we wanted to be somewhere else. So we left.
We decided to go to Lufkin. Been here a few days. Helped out with Uncle Ken and Aunt Jo’s house. Went to visit some friends, out to eat and then got schooled on some fishing.
I went fishing with daddy, and he caught nine, while I only caught one. LOL we were in the same boat, both using two rods, and the same bait. It was rather funny. The lake was pretty low. It has been a long time since I have seen it that low.
We are about to head out to the zoo for a family picnic, and tour of the zoo. We also have two feed the ducks, since Kaden said so.
So, plans change, but we are pretty good at having fun where ever we are – not to mention, it does not take much to entertain us or relax us.
