Life

“Going to work!” and I’ve never been more happy.

Well I will have my first day on the new job tomorrow. I have never been more happy to go to work. LOL I am really anxious to see what I will be learning and to get those checks coming in. I wish the bills would go on hold when you transfer to a new job or something. LOL

I will be working the 9/80 shift for a while during training. We are in the middle of a shut-down right now, so I am sure I will have plenty to learn. Looks like I might start with some overtime.

Today was great! We had a very nice service at church. I really enjoy the worship there. I am thinking of doing a website for the church, so everyone else can kinda get an idea of who we are and what we believe. Plus a nice way for some of the people who have visisted in the past to see what we’re up to.

Nick and I went back up to the church after lunch and played some songs. We have a new one nearly finished. It is always those last few lines. LOL I left my stuff up at the church. Nick and I discussed some possible style changes in the the normal worship sets. New songs, little changes on sounds…just to make it a little more fresh.

I can not say enough how much I like the fellowship at this church. I can’t wait to see how God is going to use me here.

One of my reasons in the decision to come out here was to get away from the norm back home and try to focus a little more on what God wants me to do. Yeah I know…the new job, money, and the music… Well that was all blessings…and the music is what God wants me to do…so it is all coming together fine.

Anyway, I am closing now…I stole a book from Nick’s computer desk titled ” Manof Valor” by Richard Exley. Christian book – and seems pretty good so far. I want to do a little reading before I crash. Morning comes a little earlier for me now days. LOL

So later…
James
Oh yeah!
My cell phone is not working so well out here. So I will try to call everyone back tomorrow evening. Also check out Nick’s new blog I helped him setup. Still fresh, but start checking it. http://edwardssite.com

Later…uhhh again,
JC
