Newsflash – Weekend over
Yeah, well not just yet. I am going for a ride on my bike before I call it finished. LOL Just made it back to Post, and my dang air conditioner is not cooling at all now. My poor salt-water fish were almost to boil temperature. There is a nice cool breeze and I have windows so that will do until the repair man gets here. Read on for a brief on Saturday’s events…
OK, so we met at Tom’s house and waited for the man of the night, Joe, for what seemed like forever. LOL Sorry Joe, you did take a while. LOL Fast forward to MinuteMaid stadium. We got to our seats, Crawford Boxes row 6, and they were sweet. The Rockies were still doing batting practice when we got there, so there were a few balls hitting all around us. No luck on getting one though.
Some of us headed over to the Astros dugout. Joe and I hung out for a while snapping pics
and seeing if we could get an autograph. Got the pics…but that’s all. Those Crawford Box seats looked really good from that side of the field too. The sun was cooking hot on this side, and the Crawford seats were in the shade.

Jack was the ‘Black cloud’. As we were getting in our seats he says “Man, everytime I come down here the ‘stros loose…”. We made a promise to beat him if they did, and Joe noted that he would never be invited again. LOL
So yeah, the Astros lost. 2 -1. We had a great time though. Ended up being 14 of us instead of just 12. Jack’s friend Bobby and Jessica (Bobby’s girlfriend) got the extra tickets from Joe.
After the game we headed to Hooters in Humble. I noticed everyone left the cameras in the vehicles for this part of the weekend. So, there is no incriminating pics to show. LOL We had a good time there too. Rand, who coached the team Joe and I played on, was the entertainment on my end of the table. I will never for get this part as long as I live. Rand, ‘Melissa’, and the story he gave the Hooter girl. ” DO know how hard it is to find a censored english censored I might take the picture home censored” I will not quote it all here… but that will help those of us who were there remember it. LOL He is hilarious!
Kyle, (guy in the pic on the left) ate like a horse. “I’ll start with a beef Quesodia, then I want a double meat cheeseburger, and to drink….a diet coke.” LOL Hope that diet coke helped the carb count even out Kyle. LOL
So, we had a good time. Everyone will see each other again in a couple weeks for the big wedding. I think Jack summed it up in his own weird unique way. He said ” Man this was a great weekend all in one night.”. LOL Yup! It was. Thanks Joe for taking us all to the game for your ‘Bachelor’ party. We love ya bro!
I think I hear my bike trying to start up without me. Gotta run! I’ll post the rest of the pics in the gallery soon.
