What in the world!?!?!?!
Ok folks, the creature you see to the left of this post is one found and killed here in beautiful East Texas. What is it…well that seems to be the question everyone is asking. Let me show you some things I found about it and tell you what I think it is….
Seems that this little creature, or ones like it, have been spotted almost everywhere in the US and Mexico. After seeing this in our local news paper…I started doing a little digging. This thing gets around, well ones like it since two of the have been shot and killed to be ripped apart and examined.
Elmendorf Beast, Mexican hairless dog, the mythical chupacabra — or “goat sucker”, a muntjac, or a mix between a dog and a coyote… well no one knows for sure just yet. I, however, have my expert opinion as usual. I have seen many wild beasts in my time. I have seen the mothermadatme beast, wifemadatmebeast, bosswhyareyoulate beast, as well as many of our common ones. In my opinion this is clearly a cross between a Kangroo, Coyote, Pigeon, and a local Meyth monkey. Look at the pictures, read about it… I am sure you will agree with my findings. I am dedicating a page, with pictures of the beast, on the site also. Link will be at the bottom of this post.
Be sure to post your opinions here on this post. All the help I can get on truely identifying this beast will be helpful. Also, if you have a good scientific name for the lil’ guy/girl…throw it in your comment.
Our paper has a short story on it ( http://www.lufkindailynews.com/news/newsfd/auto/feed/news/2004/10/13/1097641071.18121.5547.4364.html ), as well as a San Antonio news channel, WOAI-TV.
Oh yeah…I decided to put the link on the sidebar of the site. Just click on “The Beast”. LOL
Here is a good link to WOAI-TV’s list of stories on it. Has some video also. http://www.woai.com/search/internetSearchResults.aspx?num=10&start=0&q=Elmendorf+Beast&submit.x=23&submit.y=5
