Here is what we’re up to…

Well been a long week or three around these parts. I would love to give details, but I have several readers who I just like to make mad and really don’t care for them to know anything to personal. LOL Yeah….that’s how rude I am.

So, let’s see….they did some cuts and re-structuring at work. Lost several good people and a few other people. Heheheh Was pretty tense around there for a while, but I think the worst of it is over now. Really don’t have a rhyme or reason for it all – but then again, I just work here…and I am thankful that I still do.

We have the house coming together pretty good now. Starting to look like a home. We painted a bathroom and another wall. We put up some decorations…to which, my wife spent entirely to much money at Hobby Lobby for what little she got. LOL I will admit it does help the look of the house.

We have the builders coming back over to fulfill some ‘written’ promises on the house. Here is the list of stuff we are having them do:

1.Entry way walls, ceiling needs paint.
2. Kitchen and Breakfast ceiling needs paint.
3. Living room window wall and ceiling need paint.
4. Garage door needs bottom panels replaced and repainted – Todd did
tell us they would repaint the entire door.
5. Brick needs replaced.
6. Keystone needs plastic taken off.
7. Some outside stuff up top needs paint.
8. Lacquer stair rail
9. Lacquer one cabinet door in kitchen and the wood trim around the counter tops
10. Need missing door in Kitchen
11. Need cabinet skins installed
12. Kitchen tile back-splash needs to be cut back and bull-nosed
13. Kitchen back-splash electrical plates need replaced or put on
14. Level or shim upstairs boys bedroom door
15. Sheet rock work around front side lights
16. sheet rock work in master bath near tub
17. sheet rock work in upstairs small vanity area.

We have several other projects we want to finish before Christmas…like put in the French doors, put in an extra bath room door, build the Pergola, build the storage building, new front door, and have the house decorated. This translates into a prayer request…pray for us.

I would like to finish setting up my studio now that most everything is put away every where else in the house. However, they need to re-paint the studio….so I may have to wait. Lord forbid they get paint on my guitars, drums, piano, and other stuff up there.

Anyway, just a short “here is what we’re up to” post for those who’ve been wanting a new post. I will put new pictures up and let everyone know about them soon.
