Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving

Well just wanted to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving and list just a few things I am thankful for. It is a small few of the many, many things I am thankful for.

Things I am thankful for:

• God – You continue to bless me when I least deserve it. I am thankful that you would give up your only son to save me from my many sins. I love ya’ Lord.

• Family – every last one of you, in-laws too! I know you had no choice…you have to associate with me and I am thankful for that.

• My wife – I love you for loving the real me…I know it is hard, but you hang in there. One day I’ll be old, feeble, deaf, and crippled….then you can take it all out on me!

• My kids (Keagan & Kaden) – I love you both. You’ve made me step up to a plate that I was at first a bit unsure of. Keep pitching it to me…we’ll get a home run before the game ends.

• Friends – what can I say…you have a choice, yet you still associate with me. Hmmmm????

• My salt water inhabitants – you never gripe, you never mess on the floor, you always act like your happy to see me…even when you go days without food, or months without a tank clean. Faithful ’till the end, which some of your past companions have met.

• My job – wow what can I say. I’ve been down before, poor, and never finished college. To have a job as good as I do is a true blessing when those around you are more qualified, better educated, etc. This includes those I work with or around. You make all the crap worth showing up for every morning.

• My home – not just the house (brick and mortar) but the ‘Home’ Jace and I have built. I hope it only continues to grow stronger.

• The lack of humidity in West Texas.

• The neighbor whose dish network TV #2 is on the same UHF freq. as mine. Without you changing my channels I would probably stay up all night watching TV. Instead I aggravate my wife until I know she is about to snap…then I get a decent nights rest.

• The Bob & Tom show – better than the day to day hum drum on the other radio stations in the morning…and I get to laugh all the way to work.

• My iPod – in West Texas a signal is not always a guarantee…you keep me jammin!

Well….I could go on and on as you probably already know, but we’ll keep it short.

Be thankful – take sometime – look at how blessed you truely are – do it now before the day to day grind grabs a hold of you and makes you blind to it again.

Have a safe and happy Thanksgiving Day.
