Family History (Great Grandma Clark’s Video Interview)

Jace, Uncle Jim, and I took a scenic tour of the Ohio country side yesterday. We went up to Archer’s Ridge where my Grandpa’s side of the family was raised. We got to see what was left of the old home place. The third step where Uncle Bill sat almost everyday for getting in trouble.

We got to see the old “road wagon” that Great Grandma Clark talks about in the interview below. This interview was taken just a few days before her 104th birthday and only days before her passing. I will try to go back and put caption at the bottom, so everyone can better understand what is being said. I will also edit out the parts where she did not hear the question….kind of speed things up a bit and save server space.

We also got to visit the old Archer’s Ridge Church…”Grandpa’s Church” to my mom and her siblings. You did not need any modern day PA system to preach there, as you’ll see in the pictures I’ll upload later.

Well, enjoy the video interview. It has some very funny parts in it….well to us anyway. We all cold read her body language to see when she thinks the question was foolish, and when she raises up a bit out of that chair…that means she is fired up a bit. I also added some pics to the picture page to see. I’ll try to put captions at the bottom – because you will not have any idea what some of them are unless you have been there.
