What is going on?

Ok… I had made up my mind I was moving to the Lubbock area when….uhh…crash…wrench in the spokes…..

Yeah, I have been thinking about moving to the Lubbock area for a long while now, and was ready…all prayed up about it…found some promising jobs…and was ready to see what I could do out west…find my gold..LOL

Had given the news to those who I thought would care or that it might impact in some way, and was ready to load the U-haul..literally. Edwin, our drummer…was ready too…with no persuasion by myself or anyone else I might add. Then it happened…the …the…the phone rang! (cue the bloodly, terrifying scream)!!!!!

Yeah, Nick called to say they offered him an East Texas job….WHAT!!!!! We ask for this for two years and now they bring it up again…AGAHAGAHGAHAHHHH We were…or well I will speak for myself….I was mad, sick, and mostly confused. So be praying we find out what it is we need to do. Mainly pray for Nick and his family, they are the ones with a difficult choice at hand.

On the flip side, we start the recording sessions for our CD Thursday morning – early. We are fired up, and ready. Well I hope the rest of the guys are. I know I am. After speaking with them I think they are ready too. We hope to get the main tracks laid down over the next 4 days and then, we can do the mixing and over dubbing as needed. Then it is promo packs, duplication, and get ready to fill the schedule up for the next year or so.

New website to follow with the CD completion – so please be sure to check that out. (www.newsonband.com). We are in need of a new design anyway. LOL

Well got to crash, work in the morning and then start getting things ready for the sessions…whoo hoo… pray for us.

Later,
JC
