NSB visits Hewitt, TX!

Wow, what a weekend. A trip to Hewitt – awesome worship – no sleep – lots of food. LOL

The band made a trip to Hewitt, TX this weekend (just south of Waco, TX) to play a discipleship NOW at FBC of Hewitt. I have to be honest I knew that we needed to play this when it was offered to us – but I had no idea that it would feel this good.

When the opportunity first arose, I felt we needed to play because we had not played since we started the second session of the CD project and I wanted to do a discipleship NOW worship service. WOW! I did not know that the worship, playing, friendship, laughs, etc. would feel so good.

Guess I can still be surprised once in a while!

I am not gonna write a long post here – Nick did that today, so ya’ll can read his. LOL

I just want to say Nathan Loudin has a calling to preach. I was taken by his energy, his down to earth communication to the people in attendance, his over all personality – and most importantly – him preaching the truth. No buttering it up – just the True Word of God.

Nathan – you’ll be in our prayers – keep up the good work. If you ever need anything contact us.

Robert and Michelle – you guys rock! …and now that I think about it…you must both be insane also. You guys lets us stay at your house, eat all your food, throw all our luggage and stuff around – and let Stephen jump on your table. LOL (Just so everyone will know he did not jump on the table – but he wanted too!) We love you both. The support and encouragement you give us really means a lot. Thank you!

The people of Hewitt FBC. Ya’ll were so generous and accepted us with open hearts and ears. Ryan – keep the youth going the way you have them now. Youth – it is encouraging to see the future of the church have so much passion for Christ. I pray you all will continue to full-fill your purpose and ‘Know God”.

Stephen, Nick, and Mark – thanks for letting me share another great time of music and worship (oh yeah and my stupid stories LOL) with ya’ll. I would not trade those moments for anything in the world.

Now everyone go read Nick’s long post about the weekend for details. LOL Also I posted some pics up in the gallery. Here is the link to the pics. Enjoy!
