Still alive and doing fine!

clown.jpgHey all! Just wanted to drop a quick post to say… that I am still alive and things are going well.

The band has a new drummer that is playing with us for now. He is awesome, as a drummer, spiritually mature, and down to earth honest good guy. I hope he decides to stick with us. So you can add that as a prayer request as well.

Work is good, those guys are really a great group to work with. Everyone picks on one another, but gets the job done. Guess we would go crazy out there in the middle of no where (AKA ‘the creek’) if we didn’t approach it that way.

I moved into a duplex for now. Wow, I have a lot of stuff. So many boxes and packing paper it is about to drive me crazy. LOL I have two bedrooms, and one is floor to ceiling, closet and all full of boxes I am trying to keep packed if I decide to buy a house.

I am thinking of waiting on the house buying though. May just stay here a while. Take my time at looking around and all. Since I am single it makes it easier for me to just stay here, pay some things off, and save more money in the long run to buy later.

Moved my saltwater tank over here today. It has been at Nick’s since I moved out here. I decided I would get it so I could see my fish everyday, and take care of them myself. I am almost done with getting things I need unpacked and arranged. It takes a while to unpack only part of your stuff then consolidate the other stuff to get rid of some boxes.

Nick and I cleaned out his office building at his house. We set my weight set up there. I am ready to start lifting again. With all the move and job change it set me back again. So I am anxious to see how well we can stick to the schedule we made.

Nick and I talked to another Christian band out here. They call themselves Job. They have some great original stuff. Kinda a old Jars of Clay/Shane & Shane sound. They are interested in us recording them. So I hope we get the chance to do that.

Anyway, I am going to close with some stats on the site. Since the new year is here and all. This is for all my fellow geeks. LOL

Since I started keeping stats in November of ’04 this is as far back as I could go.

November ’04 – December ’04 clarksite.com had 74 Unique visitors, 142 total visits, and 2096 hits.

For the year 2005 clarksite.com had a total of 2422 Unique visitors, 6497 total visits, and 65579 total hits.

For this month, so far, clarksite.com has 192 unique visitors, 341 total visits, and 4605 hits.

This traffic excludes traffic generated by robots, worms, or replies with special HTTP status codes. So looks like the site is actually getting looked at, which tells me that most of you don’t have much to do. LOL!

I do thank everyone that visits the site though, especially for the comments and emails I get on some of the stuff I post. Unfortunately it is a good way for me to keep in contact with some of you, since I am horrible with the ‘keeping in touch’ thing. So thanks, and keep visiting!

Until next time….
In prayer,
JC
