East bound and down, loaded up and truckin’..again!

BanditYup, when I got off work this morning at 7am I was singing “East bound and down…” as I headed toward ‘Home’. Big Lufkin, TX. LOL

I made decent time, stopped once for fuel, snuff, drink and snacks, got to my parent house at 2PM on the mark. Wish I could have taken the bike, but I really wanted to bring my guitar, do some song writing work while I was here and around some other musical friends. Plus, May is great for rain in East Texas, and I don’t care to ride in it.

I got in visited with my step-Daddy for a bit, then crashed. My mom got home, and they tried to wake me up to go eat with them, but I needed and love sleep…so I never moved. LOL – 12 hour shift, and 7 hour drive…yeah getting old I guess.

Anyway, it is good to be home. Look forward to the visit time with my friends and family. Going to stop by the old job site tomorrow and visit a little there. Of course I will get to see my niece, Jayme Lynn, and visit with the family too.

Astros
Saturday, I am headed to the Astros game in Houston. Joey scored some Crawford Box tickets and we’re getting a group together for his bachelor party to go. Should be a lot of fun.

On a another note… I got to visit with an old close friend last night on the net for a bit, and learned that they too have a blog now. (I am holding all names for sake of the innocent) It was really nice to do some catch up. It was unfortunate to see life had been a little stressful lately for ‘the friend’ though. I know everything will be fine if ‘the friend’ keeps the faith and keeps fighting. The whole ‘friend’ thing will piss the nosey people off a little, but oh well. I will give my site some mystery LOL!

So, think I will do some surfing, and maybe then I will be ready for more sleep…you people need to get online and chat with me since I can’t sleep. LOL

Later,
JC
