Curtain call

I figured I had better let everyone know that I have decided to stop playing with New Son Band. I hope the stories that brew up from this, if any, will not be your run of the mill rumors. There is no one to blame, and the reasons are – well – not important to anyone outside the band.

I have put a lot of prayer, time, and money into New Son Band, but after a few months of praying about this, this was the answer I felt was right. I wish them all well in their endeavors, and pray that they will use their talents as God would have them to be used, rather it be ministry, music, or other.

It has been fun seeing and hearing how six people’s talents can come together in music. I will miss all the jamming, collaborating, and joking.

I will continue to write and play. I don’t think I can stop doing this. I feel God has truly given me the talents I have in music. I just feel that I am to do something else with them outside of New Son Band.

So, thanks to everyone for their support over the last few years, their prayers, and their help. I ask that you think of each one of us from time to time and mention us in prayer.

I don’t know what the others have planned. I am planning on finishing some songs and seeking other ideas for a band and music.

Look forward to seeing what God has in store for the future.
