A post just for Mom & Jodi

Ok, so I was told I needed to make a post to my blog since the folks back home did not know what I’ve been up too. So, here goes…and warning…it’s not exciting.

I’ve been house hunting again. Found one I really like, but looks like someone beat me to it. I drove by Sunday evening and there was a new sign in the yard that said sale pending. I talked to my realtor, he said he would watch to see if the contract falls through. Then I’ll make an offer. So looks like I will continue the hunt.

Been working on some songs, both Christian and country, and thinking of putting another band together. We’re still tossing the idea around. We’ll post more on that when I see what happens. It will be a country band this time though. I know some folks will be upset that I will not be doing Christian music, but it does not change me or my beliefs. I feel you can do music…or anything for that matter…and still glorify God. You don’t have to do it all in a church building or mention His name every other word of the song. To say otherwise is almost to say that a person working at Burger King can’t glorify Him. Anyway, I’ll stop my rant…and just say…Jesus loves me too!

This part of the post is for my mother and Jodi… I know they want to know if I have been dating or going out with anyone lately. The answer is yes I’ve been dating and going out…and no I have not even thought of getting serious or picking just one for now. LOL We’ll see if one can catch me…or should I say hang with the ADD, East Texan, snuff spitting, music loving….not to mention all the other reasons the last one left…person I am. I doubt I’ll ever find one…but y’all keep praying.

LOL I did not give you any details…ain’t that a bummer. LOL (They’re both mad right about now!)

Other than that…nothing really new. Guitar Center takes a portion of my check regularly, bills still come in on time, and Post is as exciting as it was when I got here.

So I will post again soon. I just need sleep right now…
