Life

Yeah I have not posted in a while – I know!

So here is the big update of my ever exciting life. LOL

The old NSB boys decided to get back together long enough to finish the old CD project. It is coming along fine and we’re having fun with it. Even added a couple new songs on there.

Brice is doing all the drumming on this one. Nick and I went back and made new ‘dummy tracks’ along with click tracks to make sure we don’t have the same problem we had last time. Brice is really an excellent drummer. He likes input and ideas from us. So our collaboration is really helping this CD out.

I have turned the extra bedroom in my duplex into a tracking room. LOL I ordered all the studio foam for the 120 square foot room, to make it sound a little better. I also got a new iMac. It is sweet!

It has a 2 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo, 1 GB ram (3GB coming soon), 160 GB hard drive, Dual layer DVD burner, wireless keyboard and mighty mouse, all the good stuff! I went with the 17″ size for now, so I can carry it on the road with me easier when I go some where else to record. I gave Jack my old Mac Mini and a MAudio so he can record some stuff at home.

I have also been working on the SFB live stuff I recorded. Trying to get a good rough mix and pick out what sounds the best from the 3 nights of recording. There is really some good stuff on there and I think it will make a good CD for them.

I am working on some new songs of mine also. I am going to record them as soon as the NSB project is completed. It will be songs I’ve written or co-written. Just want to get them on CD and pass them out to people I don’t like. LOL

Other than that…it is work and enjoying the nice weather out here. SO until next time….
