Music projects on the move!

Finally! The New Son Band CD is finished. Wow it seems like it should be called “the greatest hits album” or like Stephen said…”A long time coming”.

I have the mastered CD and all the form filled out and packaged – just need to mail it off for duplication. It should take a couple weeks for that to finish, so it will be a nice break.

I did upload the songs to newsonband.com and myspace.com/newsonband for purchase. Each song is only $.99 each…so some of ya’ll need to fly over there and buy a couple. I know most people will get the CD and make copies of it…which is our hard earned money down the drain. I can see on one hand though…that the music will be out there. Hard to figure out where I stand on that really.

Anyway, I will be starting on a couple new CD projects now. I’ll be mixing Matches for memories new CD. It will be good in the final I am sure. Has some great new songs on it. I’ll keep you posted here or you can keep an eye on their MySpace site. http://www.myspace.com/matchesformemories

I will also be recording several of my country songs I’ve written. I’ve just started this project rolling and hope it turns out well. I’ll be backed by Brice Key on drums (from the NSB project) so that will be fun. I like recording with him because he is easy going and is never afraid to try something new. I’ll keep you posted on this as well.

Other than that been planning stuff for the marriage, new house, etc. Mainly house and when type stuff. It is all coming together fine. We are not worried about any of it and I think that is the key. Everything seems to be just falling in its place at the right time.

Just wanted to put a plug out there about the music. Was woke up by the sound of a cat screaming outside my window. Sounded like something got hold of it pretty good….the cat and I both were scared.

So…until something else worth posting..or another sleepless night….
