James goes to jail.

James goes to jail – for 10 years?

OK so everyone has been asking me what i did to end up with a possible 10 year sentence. Here is the story.

clarktrial2007-12-12-1197517173.jpg“When James Clark wasn’t tending to his flock at Mount Vernon Methodist Church, he was traveling to Africa on mission work.

During his trial, government attorneys proved that he was actually finding women there to bring back as prostitutes.

With shackled feet, aided by a cane, Clark returned to the courtroom to face the jury.

“He made no expression as he heard the unanimous guilty verdict.

The victim was a young Kenyan woman, who saw Clark as her ticket out of poverty and prostitution in Africa.

Clark offered her a scholarship to attend South Plains College.

He led her to believe her tuition would be paid for by Mount Vernon’s African outreach charity.

But as soon as she denied Clark sex, that scholarship became a loan, which she must pay back under the threat of deportation.

Explicit photographs, e-mails, and even a tape recorded conversation convinced the jury clark had no goodwill in his heart, and he brought this woman over for one reason only, for sex.

Clark faces a maximum of ten years and a 250,000 fine.

He will also stand trial in early 2008 for defrauding the U.S. government of more than half a million dollars.”

See there, turns out it is not me. Though, as far as looks, we resemble one another. LOL I hear this on the radio this morning along with everyone else…so my office has been busy this morning with inquiring minds.

So there it is…the rest of the story.
