Happy Birthday to me and the U.S.A.
Well lets see here…
Two hundred and twenty-nine years ago, a group of men came together to make the ultimate life-altering decision: to dissolve the political bonds that held the 13 American colonies under the subjugation of King George III.
And…
Thirty years ago, a man and women had the birth of their first child…whooo hooo! Me!
Ok, I know, I can’t even…in all my insane ways of thinking…come up with an intro or story to compare my birthday to the birthday of America…but thought I would make a post about them both anyway.
First for America. We all know the history, if you don’t you should, so I will just simply say Happy Birthday America. I want to thank all those who serve to protect this country’s boundaries and its truths. I know we have our problems here, but it is still the best country out there!
Now for me…uhh…I am 10,957.5 days or 1,565.3571 weeks old. Depends on how you want to look at it. Just a reminder to those of you who think I am old…I am in my prime! LOL
Had a great suprise birthday party. I had no idea, which I guess is the tactic behind having a ‘suprise’ party. I thought we were just going out to eat, and then I would go visit some friends…but they got me.
Seems my brother and my mom had called a few close friends and told them to stop by. Next thing I know all these people are pulling up and hmmmmmm yup looks like we will not be going to eat out.
We ate the normal Bar-B-Q Brisket, and told stories on one another. I have not laughed that hard in a while. In fact I had tried to forget some of those happenings. LOL Got some nice gifts, and funny cards, but it was the stories that made the night.
Then, the next evening, I went to ‘Tilt’ (video arcade in the mall) for another birthday party…but Jack, Joey, and I made it my party too…correction our party. LOL
Happy birthday Erika!
Anyway, no special plan for the next 30 years. Just gonna take it as it comes. Seems I made it this far…let’s see what’s in store for me now.
Thanks to all those who came. I had a great time.
Those in attendance where: Mom, Jack, Jayme, Byron, Jodi, Anne, Janie, Stephen, Nicki, Shady, Joey, Jamie, Travis, Patti…and a bunch of phone calls from those who got the word late and had to work or where already going out of town for the holidays.
***side note*** I just want to put this on here so I don’t forget:
Byron and the “what’s that? hehehehehe” story.
Joey and Tabitha’s “AARP jokes”
That…should help me remember.

OLD MAN!!!
I MADE THE WEBSITE??? The first time I ever look at it and lookie there… Well happy birthday, even though I think I have told you that a million times. I think the AARP jokes are the least I can do to you. Considering how much I endure from you and Mr. Johnson. Love the site!
