Schools out and I’m coming home!
Well, not just yet, but tomorrow morning. I wish I could have scheduled an earlier flight back home. Two weeks is more than enough time to be gone. I miss everyone and everything back at the old homestead. My two new friends from Louisiana have flown out this evening, and here I sit. Blogging. So, I can’t wait to see the wife, kids, dog, and the fish! Here’s to coming home, and the feeling it gives you down inside.

Phoenix, Sedona, Flagstaff, and the Grand Canyon
Well, I am cheap and decided to go do my own laundry today here at the guest laundry at the hotel. I know honey, when times are rough, I can even do laundry. Love you too. So while I wait for a machine to open up for my use, I decided to blog. I think this is considered multi-tasking. Just a warning – this is a fairly long story, but hey it is worth me remembering so here goes… I am out in Phoenix for some training. Is anybody going to San Antonio or Phoenix… I’m there!
Well, I am in Phoenix for a while. Never been here before and it is actually kind of nice in a desert kind of way. The time difference slurps though. I flew out on Sunday morning, so the DST hit me Saturday night. I lost an hour on that time change. Then I arrive in Phoenix to find I am two hours ahead of everyone. Whoa! Messed me up a little.

Well, family is making some good tasting fame back home in the piney woods. LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) – More than 300 East Texas youth entered their sweet treats in the Angelina County Bake Off Challenge Wednesay morning. Students were able to choose any recipe under the sun as long as it wasn’t a cake made straight from a box.
