Short 'what's happening" in my life at the moment.

    My Mac is back!

I finally had time to install the new screen in my laptop this morning. I have worked late, or had something more pressing to do every night since it came in.  Replacing the screen on a Macbook is not for everyone. Not bragging, but I did it with little trouble. I did not have any screws left over, but I did break a small piece of plastic. The plastic piece is nothing important…so I’m good. Also, I finished up the main part of the patio project. Now I need to build the railing, put the polycarbonate roofing on, and figure out how I am going to build the grill in…

    Mac down

Well, my beloved macbook had a little problem this weekend. Friday night I picked it up to post some new pictures of the patio project and only half the screen was working. The other half was verticle lines of different colors. I know, I was shocked too – never had a problem with my Mac’s before.

    Patio build – the stories

This was an out of the ordinary fun project. Not because of the project itself, but the stories that surround it. We had a lot of fun doing this. Just read along, and you’ll see why. Just incase I forget to tell him again – Big thanks to Craig for all the help and the hours put in. Could not have done it without ya bro. Thanks to Angela as well, for letting him hang out with me. Means a lot.

    Picture page repaired

Well, I was notified by some family and friends that my picture page was not working. I checked…they were right. So, I found the issue and repaired it. Ended up being that there was a conflict with the newest version of WordPress and the Picasa plugin I was using. I found a new plugin, which I like better.  Tomorrow Craig and I will be finishing the patio project. Weather permitting. Speaking of weather. My parents have 25 people at their house. All from the Beaumont area. My brother’s family, his assistant pastor’s family, and some of their friends. Pray for those affected by the hurricane. All is good now. Enjoy…
