Finally!
Well, we closed on the house today. Not without the stupid stuff that has been happening all week either. The mortgage company made a goof, but it worked out fine in the end. We have more money in our pockets and the note only went up $12.00/month….so looks like we’ll put the other cash in retirement.
I had to meet the painters and the cabinet people a the house around 10:30. Then Jace and I had to go get a cashiers check. Back at the house around 2PM for a walk through. Then to the title company for closing at 3PM. Then it was off to grab something to eat, order the other blinds….the ones they can cut there at the store…check on the special order blinds….then off to paint.
We just got home (it is 1:18 AM!!!!) We moved the fridge, and some other stuff over to the house. Painted the living room, and master bedroom, cleaned up our mess…and headed to the apartment to set the alarms for early.
I will post more when it is all over with….if you have nothing better to do this weekend…holler…we’re hosting a moving party. We are going to have some good food & drinks Saturday night when it is all over with too!!!! The eats & drinks are on us…and i promise it will be some good eats!!!!!!
Anyway…off to sleep for a few hours!
