Reality TV, Gays, Rangers, and a 646-pound catfish!

Reality TV has hit a new, humiliating low. If that’s possible.

“Being Bobby Brown”, the latest bilge to be scraped off the bottom of the reality-TV barrel.

Until The Osbournes, reality shows were more about ordinary people in what are supposed to be extraordinary circumstances

Think The Real World, Road Rules, Survivor, Big Brother. But now they’re just as much about people who think they’re extraordinary doing ordinary things

Nick and Jessica. Paris and Nicole. Kevin and Britney. Flavor Flav and Brigitte Nielsen on The Surreal Life. Anna Nicole Smith. Some I can’t remember the name of…you know the British baby sitter lady….The Nanny..I think…. so many I can’t name…

Being Bobby Brown 9PM on Bravo

On top of all that crap…we have Canada allowing gays to marry and this:
Gay rights activists embrace under a flag made up of the Spanish and rainbow flags outside parliament in Madrid after same-sex marriages were legalised despite fierce opposition from the Catholic church.

So… in other news….

Texas Rangers pitcher Kenny Rogers Wednesday shoved one TV photographer and took a camera away from another, then kicked it.

The exchange came as Rogers walked out of the dugout to the field before the game with the Los Angeles Angels. Rogers shoved one cameraman. He then wrestled a camera from a second photographer, KDFW’s Larry Rodriguez, threw it to the ground and kicked it.

Paramedics took Rodriguez to an Arlington hospital to be checked out for neck and back pain. Rodriguez was treated and released.

Rodriguez says there was no question Rogers was upset. He says he doesn’t know if the photographers were the stem of the problem. But Rodriguez says he didn’t think the photographers did anything wrong.

Rangers owner Tom Hicks says what Rogers did was wrong and the team won’t condone it. Hicks says the matter will be handled internally.

So what the crap Rogers??? Do you not like cameras?
….and probably the most important news I read or heard all morning:

Thai fishermen netted a 646-pound catfish believed to have been the world’s largest freshwater fish ever caught in Thailand.
646 lb Catfish

Anyway…was bored this morning so thought I would post.

Thanks for waisting time on my site.
