    West Texas Wind

    March 29, 2010 /

The wind has been vicious this weekend. Blowing dust and tumble weeds every where. So since I was on call this weekend, we can’t really go anywhere or do anything…and I could not ride my bike because of the wind…we stayed home.

    My first Harley

    March 15, 2010 /

I want to start by saying my wife is awesome! Really, seriously awesome. Now I’ll give a small, small reason why – besides being a great mom, and do-it-all woman that she is. So here is the rest of the story…

Paul D. Henry, 64, of Caldwell, OH

    February 28, 2010 /

Well, been busy and a lot has been going on around us too. So here is the short version update…trust me it’s the short version. First, I want to mention the passing of “Uncle” Paul Henry. He was my uncle until divorce, but I always considered him as such. He was a good guy, just riddled with some illnesses every since he had to jump from a oil rig as it was “blowing up”. CALDWELL – Paul D. Henry, 64, of Caldwell, died Thursday (Feb. 25, 2010) at Southeastern Med in Cambridge. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel, 609 West St., Caldwell,…

Joe the plumber and Texas’ 2010 Primary

    February 17, 2010 /

Well it is that time again in the great state of Texas – voting time! The Texas Primary Election is Tuesday, March 2, 2010. Voting is one of the most important things you can do as an American citizen. It is a privilege that was earned the hard way. This election could really change the way things are going. So I encourage everyone to get out there and vote. Do me a favor though. Don’t just go vote blind. Take some time to read over the 2010 Primary voters guide that is linked here. It will help you on your voting research. http://www.freevotersguide.org/downloads/2010_Primary_Voters_Guide.pdf “Joe the plumber” is back in the news…

    The buzz about Google Buzz

    February 11, 2010 /

I have grown a little sore about all the social networking applications out there. Myspace was fun – but spammed me with crap I did not want to see and girls who “wanted me” (I already have that problem – LOL). Facebook drove me crazy because people you did not want to talk to could find you, and it also became a gossip forum for everyone to get into your business. I know…there are some measures you can take to make them private, or only share information with friends or whatever…but still. So now Google is in the social networking game. I decided to give it a try. So far,…
