    …and we have chickens!

Got 8 Orpinginton chicks today. Kaden was more than excited. Had them all named before we got home. I only got the siding on the coop. Still have plenty to do on it, but it will be done in time. William will be coming to help again. He helped me with the siding. Kaden confirmed that I was the best dad ever.

    Kaden’s coop – Update 1

Finished the framing for Kaden’s coop today. William stopped by and helped me carry it out to location. I put the framing for the nesting box on there. Made the relocation easier with it off. The siding and roof will make it look much better. Hiding the old reclaimed lumber. I will build the run in a couple weeks when I am off for some vacation time.

Decided it should be under the category of garden – since it is part of the compost and will be for food. Lol.  My…

    Ladder test Valentines day

Eric and I went to Jayton today for some load development on my rifle and just general shooting for him. I did a ladder test at 300 yards. I made each shot through the chronograph, regardless. Even the factory rounds. Good to have the data. The data was recorded in my notebook, as opposed to here in Day One. Just quicker that way – need to see about finishing the app I was developing for this. So here is the data:
