Still no power at the house. Fish and one little TV for local news is running off my Ford Escape. Food is thawing in the freezer and refrigerators. The temp was 101 yesterday and expected to be 100 today. Hey but all is good!

Well Rita has left its mark and we're all still here, family and friends are fine.

Well... all the family is in from Houston, Port Aurthur, Galveston, Dayton...and the areas south of Lufkin that will get the worst of things. Lufkin is crazy with stupid people...killings, etc. Thought I would make a post before the main part of the storm.

Yeah, I could not resist writing something about Katrina. It is all over the place anyway. I have been pretty busy, so when I was emailed about my site getting dull and old ( I thought it was always that way) I figured this would give me something to update the site with.
