New lake place and banjo!

Well, George talked us into getting a new lake place. He discovered it for sale on his last trip down there with a friend. We’ve discussed and pondered on it for a couple of weeks, now we are waiting for March 18th to close. George and I went down and did an inspection of the place, made the deal and got the questions answered. It will be fully furnished when purchased.

The lot next to it will be in with the deal. We plan to sell the old place and then build a shop there on the vacant lot. We are exited and also very thankful – both that we can have something like this, and that we won’t have to spend the money and time on the other place.

On a side note, the gentleman selling the house had a banjo there. He said he did not play – his ex-girlfriend made him buy it. He said it was for sale, but not in the deal. George ended up buying it for $400.00. I was thankful, since I know he is not going to be playing it. LOL The guy told us it was a very high dollar banjo. I did not really care, but we were curious and looked it up online. It was running around $2000.00 plus when that guy bought it. We did find a few cheaper prices online, but it made the $400.00 a steal.

Anyway, enjoying the holiday weekend and playing the banjo. Enjoy the pics below, and please continue to pray for the White-May family.
