Life

…and a month later!

So I have been busy with Red Yetti, Oxy, and life in general. Here is a quick post to catch up on.

Red Yetti is getting ready to make a trip to the east coast of Texas. We will be visiting 3 clients and another company we are doing a project with. It will be a quick trip, we’ll be tired getting back, but that is business.

We went on a little family outing last night, have not had the chance to do that in a while. With Jace being on call, me being on call, etc. – it seems we just don’t get to do a lot together. So we wen tho the drive-in and watched Puss in Boots. It was a new experience for Kaden. We got there a little early and he kept wanting us to turn on the screen. My favorite part was the old time intro they use at the beginning before the feature starts. LOL That was some good stuff.

I had a chance to mess around with the iPad2 and Garage band. I wanted to test the microphone for an app idea I have. I wanted to see how well it responded to different sounds and positions. Actually i was impressed. I recorded a really rough version of a song I heard the other day. I put it in the music section of the site (or click here to listen). All that with my poor musician abilities and and iPad. Pretty neat – now to see if I can develop my app idea (if it is worth it).

Kaden is going into a little surgery on the 17th. So I will be taking some time off to stay home with him. I won’t go into details, but I will request some prayer for the little guy. It’s gonna hurt. Nothing serious though, so don’t worry too much.

Oh yeah, Jace has decided to start cooking healthier for us all. Almost a straight vegan diet. But hey, I like vegetables. We have all lost weight and enjoy the new meals. There are some things that aren’t that great, which we never repeat a second time. LOL We also can’t say we are Vegan’s – since we don’t exactly fit the label. We still eat our animals when we want. I am still a bone collector too – in fact Keagan will be going hunting with me this year, when we find the time to go.

We’ve been getting our veggies from the farmers co-op. The title picture was our last batch. Nice!

Other than that we have been pretty laid back around here. Busy, but no un-needed drama or worries. Except the bus driver who was giving Keagan a hard time – I took care of that in the typical Clark way and he has since apologized and I have not heard anything about it since. We have been getting ready for Thanksgiving and Christmas, since they pop up pretty quick. We even discussed some ideas for summer vacation next year. Looking forward to it already.
