    Here we go! Arduino!

As if I needed something else to learn and turn into a hobby – here I go with the Arduino. Got one from a friend with an Ethernet shield.  Next thing I know I am ordering a few resistors and sensors for it. I have planned several projects for this new venture already. The programming is addictive, and I am sure it gets worse once you can really control and end device or gather more data. So, we discussed me putting the door of that kit on this box. My reasoning was this was thicker steel and…

Not in the sense that I run out there with only my Macgyer knife and spend 4 weeks in the wilderness; but in the sense that I am hunting an animal out far from any town, and need to make sure I don’t do something stupid and not get home. Those that know me, know I have nearly failed at that last part a couple times. Maybe it is just being out there in the fresh…
