Vacation 2016 – we had fun!

It’s all over now. We made it back home. Jace was off to work today and I mowed the yard and cleaned the chicken coop. I have this week off. Need to dig potatoes and all.

Ava Grace keeps wanting to know if we can go swimming, fishing, or down to the river. I wish we could. It was surely relaxing and allowed for a great recharge. Look forward to doing something like this again soon.

I really am hooked on kayak fishing (pun intended). I could have stowed my gear away, and went down river forever I think. Jace said she enjoyed it enough that she would like one as well.  Kaden even chimed in and said he wants one…then of course, Ava said she wanted one too…but I am not even sure she knew what we were talking about.

My parents even got to come out Thursday – Sunday. We went to Fredericksburg, fishing, and just had a relaxing time.

On another note, I was just informed that Jace’s grandpa on her mom’s side passed away. JD Sanders. Here is a link to his 90th birthday party we attended.  ( http://clarksite.com/?p=1901  ) He will be missed. Always seemed to be in a good spirit when he was around. I am sure there will be another post on JD before too long.

Many thanks to William, Nancy, and Stephanie for letting the dog in and out and taking care of the chickens.

Well, I am going to leave this with a simple little movie of our fun times.  The video is about 15 minutes long. I wanted to put in as much of the pictures as I could, plus some video of my floating back upstream. That way, when I get a longing, maybe I could watch this and it might help. If for some reason the video does not work on this site, the YouTube link is( https://youtu.be/dJ7rAfx3C6A  )
