Home and the weather
I am glad to be home after being in Houston for the week. It was hot and humid as you would expect in Houston. While I was gone the weather was awesome out here in Lubbock. I did get to eat some cajun and asian food, which I don’t normally get to eat with the “flatlander” family. LOL I visited Republic Harley Davidson while I was there, since the motel they suggested I stay in was directly behind the Harley Shop. That was convenient. Not to mention the Pappadeaux’s that was within walking distance as well. The HD shop was pretty cool. They had a lot of bikes and it was…

From the High Plains of New Mexico to Houston
Friday Eric and I rode over to Clovis, New Mexico. We stopped and ate at Fat Boys Barbque and then visited High Plains Harley Davidson. The weather was nice compared to last weekend. When we left Lubbock it was around 78 with a good breeze. It was a short straight shot to Clovis. We took HWY 84 West all the way. It was about 100 miles, and once you got outside of Lubbock there were not many towns to brag about. Some of the towns along the way were Shallowater, Anton, Littlefield, Sudan, Muleshoe, Farwell, and Texico. When passing through Littlefield, TX, I remembered that it is the birthplace of…

4B Ranch Wild West Rally
Eric and I rode to the 4B Ranch Wild West Rally this weekend. It was fun, and for a good cause, but one hot weekend. We started our ride yesterday by riding down to Brownfield and registering for the poker run. By the time we left Lubbock, it was 104 degrees outside…Hot! There was barely a breeze, which is not like west Texas. We drew our first card and then rode back to the house. I got called out to work twice, and finally got home to get some sleep. The next morning I thought I was going to have to go on in to work, but that changed. I…

Suck it up! – literally.
Hehehe, it has been a while since I posted anything, so I thought I would use a catchy title. This is probably the weirdest post I have made, but hey… You know what really sucks? …and sucks like nothing else? ( Wait for it….) a Dyson! That’s right. In fact it was made to suck – that is its sole purpose – to suck….and do a great job at it. We have a dog that lives in the house, a Papillon named Mia Girl. Mia has been shedding a bit lately, and we noticed that our vacuum (a Kirby) has been sucking at sucking…LOL I love this post. It has…

I could have wrote this song…
This is exactly what I have been thinking the entire time – as I have had no problem with mine. Of course you can call me certified fanboy if you want, but it is the best smart phone, the best computer OS, and best designed hardware – hands down. Now, watch this video for an example of truth via song: LOL Apple rocks!
