Sunday evening ride…
George and I went for a quick Sunday evening ride. It was nice to get out after all the rain we’ve been having. Seems like it rained for two weeks around here. There were several flooded fields, and one road we had to slow way down for, but it was a good ride. We just went down to Post and back…nothing special just get out for a bit before supper.

My 35th, and 4th!
I have officially turned 35 years old. Family and friends made it another great birthday too. I received all kinds of birthday wishes, and gifts. Everything from rice-krispy treats, Harley Davidson merch & parts, to a new iPhone 4. Some of the gifts came in the form of good old US bills, so I decided to put that towards things I was wanting for the bike and all. I am not trying to brag or list stuff just to say I have it – this blog is so I can look back one day and remember – if I can remember how to get to this site. LOL I received:…

Happy 4th of July!
Just wanted to share a song I wrote and wish everyone a Happy 4th of July. Please remember the ones who fought, and those that continue to fight for our freedoms. Vacation 2010 – Amistad again!
We made our vacation to the lake place again this year. It was fun and relaxing, as we had hoped it would be. There was swimming, fishing, and fun all around for us. There is always the work too, part of owning the place you choose to go on vacation. George used to go down once a month to take care of the place – I think we’ll start doing the same to lessen the breakdowns and yard work when actually there to have fun. None the less – We did have fun. To make a little re-cap, and fill in the blanks – we’ll start with last years hunting…

Delayed message…
Byt the time you read this…we will be on our vacation and loving every minute of it. I am not trying to rub it in too much, but hey this vacation is well deserved by all of us. It has been a rough year, and though it has calmed down and we’ve all adjusted fairly well – thank God, we just need to get away. We’ll be doing some swimming, hiking, fishing, and most of all be laid back and enjoying the beauty of south Texas’ Devil’s river, and Lake Amistad. It is a cheap vacation as well. No plane tickets to buy, no reservations to make, no rooms to…
